WELCOME TO PATETONGA MOTORCYCLE CLUB

Established in 1972 Patetonga Motorcycle Club was originally run as the Te Aroha Motorcycle Club. 

Since 2006 the Patetonga MX season has run club days on the second Sunday of the month from October to April.

Practice days are typically run on Wednesdays from 3pm to dusk and Saturdays from September to June but check on Facebook if Track is open first (weather dependent). There is no public practice on Twilight days but the track will be open from 4pm for Twilight practice.

We request no tear offs to be used in the pit area and please take your rubbish with you.

Families: $80 -  for 2 or more riders from the same residential address 

Individuals: $50

CLUB & PRACTICE DAYS

Patetonga Motor Cycle Club run club days at the track on Top Road, Patetonga, on the second Sunday of the month October through to April.

Sign on is from 8am until 9am, rider briefing to follow. One round of practice for each class and then three rounds of racing (excludes open classes).

All club days are pointed.

Valley Champs, Schools Competitions and TTs are not classed as a club days and will not count towards club points.

 

 

LOCATION

The track is located on Top Road, Patetonga - 15 minutes from Ngatea and 20 minutes north of Morrinsville. It's sign posted on State Highway 27 from the Cafe.
From South: Turn into Otane Road off SH27 at the Patetonga Shop. At the end of Otane Road, turn right onto Top Road and travel approx 500m along Top Road until you reach the entrance.
From North: Turn into Top Road off SH27, 6km passed Kaihere School. Travel approx 2km down Top Road until you reach the entrance.

*Senior classes will have a practice and 3 races except Open which will have 2 races. Minimum 6 riders for Open classes to run.

ATV's always welcome (unpointed class)

Junior Classes:
Junior 85cc Under 12yrs 
Junior 85cc Under 17yrs 
Junior 125cc 12-16yrs 
Junior 250cc 14-16yrs 
Junior Women

Junior Open (85cc and over, no exceptions)
Pro 65cc 8-11

*Junior classes will have a practice and 3 races except Junior Open which will have 2 races.

Mini Class:
Intro 50
MX50
MX65

Trail
*Mini classes will have a practice directly before race 1 and 3 races.

ALL classes are pointed separately.

TERRAIN

Man made course with clay base. There are table tops, step ups, a supercross section and other exciting stuff. Racing is usually pretty fast but enjoyed by all.
40 gate start on a concrete pad

 

REQUIREMENTS

MNZ License required to compete, day licenses are available. Helmet, MX boots, body armour, long sleeve top & pants must be worn.

TWILIGHTS

Our Twilight Series runs on TUESDAY evenings so not to clash with other clubs/sporting activities in the area. All rounds are timed with transponders.
